Slab leaks have the potential to be a major problem and are generally caused by leaking pipes found underneath the concrete slabs of a building’s foundation. Getting the problem fixed as soon as possible can help minimize the damage.
When our slab leak professional comes to fix the problem, we must first locate origin of the leak. After it is found, the flooring will need to be removed. We’ll try to remove only what is necessary to fix the problem in order to reduce additional work and costs. We’ll usually need to drill through the concrete slab in order to access the leaking pipe. After fixing the leak, the repairman will then rough re-concrete the slab. The repair generally takes one day. If this is not your first slab leak, you may want to consider repiping your home to completely remedy the water leak problems.
